Here are 2 pieces I finished recently.
The first is a platter made from Beech. The embellishment is India Ink and the splattered with a metallic gold paint. (The gold paint looks green because of where I took the picture.)
The finish is 6 coats of spray lacquer.
The second is a small coin dish. It is made from cherry firewood and embellished with Mahogany and veneer strips (Maple and walnut)
It has been lovingly named “The Basketball Dish”
