Moving and closing up my shop, so the lumber must go! Offered here is a lot consisting of 222 board feet of air dried Black Walnut that has been stored in a humidity controlled environment for approximately 20 years. It is all surfaced on two sides to a thickness of 3/4”, except for one 10.7 board foot board that is S2S to 8/4”. The lot consists of 36 boards, ranging in length from 60” to 110”, and with widths ranging from 6” to 14” (except one board that is only 4” wide). Some of the boards are absolutely clear and amazing, others have some knots. To be fair, I’ve measured them out not counting ends that have cracks. Asking $500 cash (I don’t do electronic payments) for the lot, which equates to approximately $2.25 per board foot. Sorry, I can’t sell individual boards as I need to empty out my shop ASAP. Come by my shop in Pittsboro to check it out, put it in your trailer or truck, and take it home!

I will also be listing a similar lot of Cherry lumber, as well as smaller lots of Butternut, Willow, Ash, Honeylocust, Oak and Mahogany. Thanks for looking!

Here are some photos of some of the Walnut boards. They don’t all look like this, but many do, and the boards that have some knots and sapwood still have usable sections of heartwood.

I will be keeping an eye out for notification of the Cherry. Being a retired fellow Pittsboro resident of 35+ years, I can hitch up my trailer and be there rather quickly.

I would also be interested in the cherry and maybe the oak and ash.
