The Board is excited to announce that we will have a new location for the 2026 Picnic / Annual Meeting.
The 2026 Picnic will be May 16, 2026.

This year, the Picnic will be at the following location:
McLeansville Regional Readiness Center
4258 Camp Burton Rd.
McLeansville, NC 27301

This is free to all members and their guests who RSVP.

RSVP is required so everyone can get an accurate estimate for food quantity and door prizes. RSVP by selection one of the poll options. If multiple family members are NCWW members, we request EACH member submit the poll separately in order to have the name tags! Also, NCWW members MUST RSVP to be eligible to win a door prize (please click on the quantity in your party). Door prizes are for NCWW members only.

If you have RSVP'd and later determine you are unable to attend, please resubmit a new poll using 0 as the selection!

PLEASE NOTE: THIS RSVP THREAD WILL CLOSE ON MAY 9TH! (Don't wait too long to RSVP)

NCWW will provide the main dishes - caterer TBA shortly. We ask members to bring a side dish or dessert (Please post that on this link: (Bringing Food)

Plus we will hold the annual raffle drawing - tickets will be on sale at the picnic, bring cash or credit cards!
Additionally we will present the 2026 Golden Mallet award.

Less than a month to go and we have not even hit 50 RSVPs yet. The picnic is a wonderful opportunity to meet up and we don't need to worry about inclement weather or the heat as we are now in this wonderful climate controlled space. There are some that say we should no longer call it a picnic because the facility is so nice.

Room Layout Set. We have Room for 120 People, but we only have 48 Signed up. We have plenty of room, plenty of raffle prizes, and plenty of door prizes for just coming.

Would there be a place to plug in a crock pot? I was thinking about making beef chili or chicken curry.
We have an outlet at the wall where the drink table is at. Thats an easy switch to switch the drink table with the dessert table. So we can make it work, no problem.

Great question Jim.

Typically, members start gathering around 10am, we'll have tables open for members to have items for sale/trade/take, silent auction items, more raffle tickets for sale. Lunch could start around 11:30, with a short business meeting to follow. After that, the raffle world begin. Finally, there will be a cleanup of the area before dispersing, usually ends around 3pm.

Matt (@mpholway ) should be able to provide a more detailed agenda of the day's events.
