Congratulations to the winners of this year's contest, and special thanks to all who submitted some really nice pictures of a lot of great projects! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap Picking winners from such a strong group of contestants is never easy!

Anyway, click here to see the official results - the twelve monthly pictures plus the winning cover entry.

To the people who won -- you must do the following before we start talking about the prizes:

You must edit your entry to provide a TITLE and a DESCRIPTION for your photo. A name like "DSC_0005_2" ain't gonna cut it!!! State concisely what the project is, then in the description you should briefly provide whatever details you want to point out about the project. Just a few details about the material, construction, finish - whatever you think is important. This is what will be printed on the calendar. Click the "Edit Photo"
image_edit.png
link below your picture to add these details.

Once all these details are filled in, the winners will be contacted with details about how we will distribute the prizes.

Once again, thanks to all who participated this year - it's going to be a great calendar!!! :eusa_danc

Gee, Monty -- I always thought there were 12 months in a year -- I see 10 great pictures and a cover, but is 2008 going to be a full metric year?

I guess you could edit the information for the photo in your album. Monty will probably be able to move it.

The other three will be revealed when Monty can get back on. He and Steve have some other issues they are dealing with at the moment.

No worries - all the pics have been restored. When you guys edited them, the photo software just moved the pic out of the winners folder and into your own album... why? WHO KNOWS?!?!?!!?? But they're all back.

Sp what are the rules for next year? The same? I'll be on the look out for some funky lumber to add to the contest next year. Would like to make sure I have my camera adjusted correctly.

Thanks

My rocking chair posted an honest 7.77 in the contest for a solid third place. Must be some gremlins in there inflating the ratings of rockers. I'm proud to come in behind woodartz and walnutjerry..proud to be in the company of all the winners.

Congratulations to all the winners! I was hoping to repeat, but my poor photography kept me out of the top 12 by a planer shaving.... We have some amazing crafts people and you should all be proud!

Yea you're right... I don't see a fix for that problem. I think you had two copies of that pic somehow, and I thought I must have moved the wrong one back to the winners category. But, I just looked at the other one and it has NO ratings. The two others that I moved back (walnutjerry's and mtrager's) kept their ratings just fine - so I have no idea what happened. This is the mother of all pregnant chads.

Anyway I do recall that the Rocker was third, so we'll just leave it at that.

I really want to recognize all who entered for the wonderful work they all did. Everyone is a winner in my book. I also want thank everyone for the wonderful ratings I received. It is one thing to receive compliments from family and neighbors but it is special to receive them from those I look up to.

We are lucky to have a so many talented woodworkers. I wish there were 24 months in a year so we could include more projects in the calendar. :)
