2" Pine slab needed

How long is the pine log and how long do you want the slab to be. 10-12" diameter is fairly hefty.

I've been watching this and think there may still be some confusion. It think Dirk is looking for a 2" pine cookie that is 10-12" diameter: an actual piece of wood, rather than a service. Correct?

Dirk should have said he wanted a cookie sliced off of the end of the log. It would have been clearer to me. The thread title says

2" Pine Slab needed

. That sounds like a 2" thick board sliced along the length of the log.

No Neal is correct. Apine cookie about 2-2 1/2 " off a log thats had some time to dry
