Pretty work, Fred. You picked out some very nice walnut for these pieces. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

I like the inclusion of small areas of sapwood (not you, Roger  ) and will often use on my projects for a visual contrast.

It looks like the tops are "upside down" to me. I find myself wanting to flip them over and imagine how they'd look. :eusa_thin

Did you use M&T joinery throughout? Just thinking about how fast you'd have to move on the carcass glue-up with the front and rear sections.

Nice feet! :)

Dave:)

gee dave. i havent done anything but slop on oil in over a week!

i sat in the shop all morning watching it dry but it wouldnt dry any faster!:-( . so i been workin on a drum for the grand daughter. thied a wenge top and it had no sound so i ripped it out and used some walnut but didnt gain much in that department so i guess she is just gettin a QUIET DRUM!:eusa_thin . maybe that is best anyhow!:rolf:

Oh, man those look gorgeous!! You must've slopped the oil in the right places because it has really enhanced that beautiful walnut. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

I really enjoy looking at your work. The fact that you just "stuck the drawers in someplace" for pics makes a strong positive statement about the level of precision in your work. I looked hard at the pics and can barely see any gap around ANY of the drawers. I know firsthand that does not happen by accident. It shows me the framework on the two pieces is identical. Very impressive, Fred. :icon_thum
