1st project with the elm

A good friend commissioned this for a friend of hers who had to put his dog down last summer
The elm came from Jeff's last lumber run. The resawing and planing was done by lil' ol' me :mrgreen:

8 1/2 x 11 , 1/4 elm, #1 and #3 FD spiral , #5 FD UR for lettering, light BLO and Deft ....store bought frame

Oh...Roger...here's the extent of my Scrollsaw code deciphering (and I'll probably get shot for giving away Robert's secrets:wink_smil.
FD=Flying Dutchman and is a brand of scrollsaw blades. http://www.mikesworkshop.com/
#1 is small, #3 is medium and #5 is bigger.
Spiral means the teeth are spiraled up the blade.
UR means the teeth are all pointing Up and it's the 'Ultra" blade from Flying Dutchman. These have magic powers in Robert's scrollsaw.
