This is really good for your first attempt. A tip, you can use small pieces of felt or some flocking on the inside of the drawer openings to center the drawer and make it slide in and out easier.

Thanks, guys! The completion of the box was delayed due to an unexpected vacation...in the hospital of all places. It's all good now though so I'll see about completing this soon. I really like the felt idea to help center the drawers in the holes and I plan to flock them on the insides.

Felt and spray adhesive is a good choice when the surface is not flat. Sometimes more than one shim is needed. The width and thickness can be different for each one. After figuring out the width and thickness of each one cut each a little to thick. Sand to final thickness which also smooths the surface. Bevel the front edges. Spray adhesive works better than glue. I will not admit how long it took me to figure out spray adhesive is better than glue. Make sure the shims sit far enough back they can not be seen.
