Hi all,

Sawtooth is hosting a visiting artist workshop and demo Entirely by Hand with furniture maker Jeremy Tritchler on the weekend of 11/4 - 11/6.

Jeremy is a hand tool woodworker specializing in Colonial era cabinetmaking and a graduate of the the North Bennet Street School cabinet and furniture making program in Boston. Currently Jeremy works as a cabinetmaker at Colonial Williamsburg where he investigates and reproduces 18th century furniture. He has been published in Mortise and Tenon Magazine, and he has been featured on Fine Woodworking’s blog.

The demo will be available to attend either in our studio (Limited seats) or via zoom, and will cover historical techniques for inlay. The workshop will comprise two full workdays in the studio creating an 18th century pipe box and will cover techniques of dimensioning stock and resawing by hand.

Here is a link to more info about the program, and I am happy to answer any questions about it as well.

best,
Josie
