Just recruited him to the site. Lifelong cabinet builder. I hope he joins us.

Arg. A drum sander is my current obsession. For $300? I hope this is the older model that doesn't have a 4" dust port, or this would be a steal! Vade retro, satana!

"Drum" sander for $300 sounds steep...but a for an open ended thickness sander...WOW!....once again, thank goodness I'm broke, or I'd be all panicked about buying this thing. *sigh*

And I could really use one of those for making scrolling panels from this x/4 lumber I've got drying out...

I did not buy it. A little older than I wanted. The DC is a good deal.

Yeah Tracy, I've been looking at used drum sanders, decided I would use a 17" bandsaw more. So I'm saving up my pennies. Haven't decided if I'll get a 14" or a 17" yet.

Don't get me wrong, at 300 the sander is still an OK deal. The DC is the one that Lowes sold at clearance a few months ago. He is selling it for 100.00, and it is worth every penny of that and more, it has seen very little use. I could pick it up if someone here bought it. Hint, Hint, Enable, Enable:rotflm:
