BID ENDED 1/18/2009

So here are some drawers that I need to complete a recent project. I have bought 20+ drawers from UDB in the past but they are quite expensive when you have to add another bunch for shipping. My opinion of the UDB drawers are that they look good, are solid, and quite accurate to around 1/32".

However, recently I bought a PC DT jig and thought I'd maybe build this next set. However, with the load at my paying job increasing and the cold weather settling in, I decided that I'd entertain a bid for the work.

So that there are not any bad feelings

  • I'm going to attempt a test drawer this weekend just to see how painful
  • I calculate my retail materials cost is around $175
  • UDB is around $800 shipped
  • Depending on my test drawer my bid acceptance level may be considered un-reasonably low by you
Here are the specs.
Please note that I want drawers only with no hardware. There are references to slides in the spec but that
is only to clarify how the drawer should be constructed (i.e. when I mention a Blum 562H that implies a specific
bottom recess and notching standard specified by Blum.)

Here are the bullnose joints and wood quality from UDB

The slightly higher front and back panels are acceptable.
