118" Makita Guide Rail arrived safely... Barely...

Received my 118" Makita guide rail today and thankfully it survived shipping. In addition to the boot prints, the wood frame the rail was packed in was cracked. I'm honestly amazed it made it without getting bent.

I guess to FedEx Freight, "Fragile" must be Italian for "Safe to walk on".

Glad it got there. I only have a 106 with my DeWalt and a few more inches would be nice to have.

Anything that is long and flat get loaded on the bottom of the trailer. Nowhere does it say "Top Load Only." It's the shippers fault for not labeling it so, not FedEx.

Good luck if you file a claim. FedEx rutted up my yard pretty bad last winter and when I filed a claim, they said I would have to get a form from the vendor stating that the damage was not the vendpor's fault.
Go figure on that one. The vendor wasn't driving the truck!!!
