SImple project to repurpose wooden wine boxes. Note miniature square dovetail joins. Some boxes are constructed with dovetails and make for more interesting trays. Solid wood (Italian stone pine?) boxes are best. But, wooden free wine boxes are getting hard to find..

Those are called box or finger joints.

Looks nice! My wife had saved one of those wooden wine boxes for many years and we finally turned it into a little wine shelf.
