HELP- Jointer blade sizing

Hey All, I will be gratefully indebted to anyone that can help me figure out what size blade I need in my jointer. I have an older Chiwanese 8" jointer (no name on it), and the blades that were on it were 8" x 1/2" x1/8", I'm figuring out that someone ground the blades down. I ordered 5/8"...
