Mirror Frame

Got to do a little woodworking tonight. I built a frame for a mirror that we picked up a few weeks back. It's just about done just need to finish painting it and hang it up.. Here are a few pics. I used a pocket hole jig to join the frame together. The original frame and mirror View image...

Mirror Coat

Wondering if anyone has any experiences with Mirror Coat or the other similar top coatings? I'm getting to the point of being about ready to finish up that big Maple slab I've been toiling over for about a year now and I'm leaning towards the thick, high gloss finish. My sister-in-law in SC has...

Need some finishing help - mirror frame

So, I kind of boxed myself into a corner. I am making another Chippendale style mirror frame and am trying to solve the problem I've had with previous frames. After the pieces are cut out, the shellac top coat doesn't quite fill the pores and any kind of rubbing out is complicated by the jagged...

Craftsman Mirror Frame

Ok, I'm not sure if it's really Craftsman style or not. I sketched it up with input from my better half. Looks like craftsman to me...but what do I know? There's a little more detail on my site.

Mirror frames (UPDATED/ DONE, FINISHED!!!!)

Looking for plans - Bar mirror and shelves

I'm looking to make a shelving unit/mirror for behind our bar in the basement. I found a few pictures with some ideas I like but wondering if anyone has seen actual online plans for making something of this nature. I am hoping to have a shelving unit on each end and then a mirror with bottom...

Chippendale Mirror

Mahogany and veneer over Poplar core. Burnt umber stain and orange shellac. 10x18 beveled mirror (the lines are reflections from the bevels).

Where 2 Buy Mirror for Door?

What is your source for mirror(s) to go inside doors of a cabinet, armoire, etc? Do you have a source for mirror cut to size? Or do you pick up a mirror slightly larger than you need, and size it with a glass cutter and straight edge?

woodsmith mirror

Anyone know what issue of woodsmith has a mirror in it that has built up moldings? It was a pretty easy project and just used different molding cuts on the router to make it look like a crown piece on top. TIA
