    Randy Osborne was an avid hand tool collector, a master woodworker and a friend to all who crossed his path. He was an electrical engineer by profession and a devoted family man.

    Marsh Planes include fourteen Block Planes (top row), three specialty planes (middle row) and twenty-four bench planes. Randy Osborne dreamed of having this collection displayed for fellow tool collectors but he passed away une 2, 2010 before he could do it.

    Tim Merrill carved this Name Plate designed by Randy Osborne on his Shop Bot on a nice piece of curly maple. The Marsh Company made planes from the 1870's to about 1920 in Rockford, Illinois.

    Randy Osborne designed and fabricated this exquisite Walnut Cabinet with beautiful burls and quilted Walnut veneers for his Marsh Plane Collection. The interior shelves, vertical partitions and name plate were built by Tim Merrill and Rob Payne.
