Grizzly tools touch up paint
I recently purchased a used Grizzly G1018 jointer. Right now it's completely disassembled for cleaning and awaiting a few new parts to fine tune it. I now have decided to re-paint the stand and jointer prior to reassembly. Has anyone out there with an older Grizzly tool (approx 1995-2000)...- Temp626

Refinishing A guitar
I picked up an inexpensive Strat knock off of craigslist the other day. $30 guitar, body, pickups, pretty much everything to make a playable guitar. I figured for $30 bucks I wouldn't go to wrong. It's a pretty decent little guitar, don't know if the pickups work or not I'll need to rewire... -

Finding the center of green wood...
How do I do it? I was watching this video and he edits out the part of how he finds the center of the wood. http://lumberjocks.com/alindobra/blog/2719 It looks like he was about to measure in two spots on top of the wood and just do it perpendicular with two lines. Turning end-grain in green wood
I need some advice on turning green wood end-grain. I have seen some who say you can leave the pith in as long as you turn it thin enough to dry without cracking, AND if you are willing to live with the anticipated distortion drying will bring.
