    CMT blades at Lowes

    Today while in Lowes, I saw a set of the "new" CMT dado blades. They looked exactly like the the old Freud SD208, including the packaging. They were also made in Italy, like the Freuds prior to Bosch purchase. I guess Bosch sold that line to CMT, just as they sold their Avanti line to HD.

    CMT Combo Blade

    Anyone ever try the CMT 50-tooth Combo blade. I use the Freud and really like the raker tooth on the blade. The CMT has a triple chip grind on every fifth tooth, but I don't know if it would give as nice a flat bottom kerf as the Freud. Any feedback? Thanks.

    CMT Router Bits Clearance at Woodcraft GSO

    I was at Woodcraft today in Greensboro. They have all of their CMT router bits on clearance, 25%-75% off. I picked up a 45 deg lock miter bit for $100, reg $149. They had quite a bit left. Happy hunting! Of course I didn't get what I went for...maybe next time.

    Opinions of the New CMT Tenon Cutting Router Bit

    I received the flyer from WC the other day and there is a CMT tenon cutting bit advertised for $99.99. It comes with "four stackable slot cutters, an assortment of spacers and shims and a 1/2" shank arbor." Anyone use one of these? Any opinons good or bad? Thanks, Doug
