"Peas in a Pod"

These "peas" were turned from Ash and then treated using Behlen Solar-Lux Stain, clear lacquer, and Liming Wax. The "pod" was turned green from Basswood and then hollowed out with a Lancelot carving tool.

Turned Eggs - chicken say's "ouch"

zinsser amber shellac then behlen's?

I hope so cuz I just applied a coat of Zinsser Amber "Traditional Finish & Sealer" over oak. Next step hopefully is to apply several coats of Behlen's Rockhard over the Shellac. Three questions: I have a couple little brush lap marks. Should I try to even them out with something? How...

Does anyone know of a local source in the Raleigh area for Behlen Salad Bowl Finish? Woodcraft? Klingspor?
