Setting up and tuning a ridgid 14" bandsaw

I bought my saw in early 2006 on a closeout, and moved to NC and packed it in a shed. Earlier this month I started setting up my TINY shop, and it was time to set up the bandsaw. After my initial assessment, I finished putting it all together per the manual, and found the yellow safety key...

Balancing a circle of wood.

My brother and I are working on a prize wheel. I cut the circle out of some left over funiture grade plywood using a circle jig and a router. The circle came out perfect with one problem. When it's mounted vertically and spun, it always stops at the same point due to the weight being uneven...

Wolverine Precision Balancing System

I picked one of these up from Russ Denz (thanks Russ) http://www.oneway.ca/sharpening/balancing.htm I have to say I'm very impressed. I used it to balance two new grinding wheels, and my grinder runs much smoother, no shaking the whole bench, and my sharpening is a whole lot smoother...
