    Finishing Ash end table

    I have just finished an end table made out of Ash. I don't know how to finish it and am wondering if you all would share with me your favorite way of finishing Ash. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. thnx.

    *REDUCED PRICE* I have approximately 100 BF of kiln dried ash available. I am trying to make room in my shop. I will sell for $1.50/BF, or less if you buy a lot. They are 5 ft lengths. I just knocked the price down because I need the room.

    Got Ash?

    May be in need of some Ash shortly: 1"(+?) X 6" X 14' Is there a local source? How much a BF can I expect to pay? Finished will be 3/4" (+ if I can squeeze it - 7/8" ideal) X 5-1/8 X 14'. I can use lesser amounts as short as 8ft also. thx for helpn, Bob Hampstead

    Is there any interest in northern white ash? My boys started a 10 acre tract last week that's smack dab in the middle of the Shawnee National Forest. The tract is private owned of course and has a lot of white ash on it and a good amount of cherry (I've already got plans for the cherry - sorry)...
