i'm building a vanity and the top is ash finished naturally.
the tearout needs to be filled , but, since i'm finishing the top naturally, i'm thinking I could use a clear epoxy to fill the tearout spots and then proceed with the poly or lacquer finish.

I suppose everyone except me already knew about Internet Lumber Co in Yadkinville NC , but I just stumbled onto it and their prices don't seem too bad. They also offer a lot of species as well as personalized quotes for lumber and flooring. Thought I'd mention it.

well i don't know what's going on but i tried to upload 3 pictures of my last project for 2005 and it doesn't seem to be working. it is a stereo cabinet, built to customers specs in white ash to match some furniture that her grandfather built. Sorry you cna't see it

with the biscuit joiner adjusted to cut 3/4 inch deep , it works great for this task.
