    Remote Start Issue for DC

Thanks Scott. I do have a Oneida Super Dust Deputy 5" cyclone and Wynn HEPA filter on my DC as well. I did try the 10 gauge/30amp breaker last night, but as you stated, the limitation continues to be the remote switch. :-( It wouldnt take but a moment to rewire the outlet for 220v but I am...

    Remote Start Issue for DC

THe unit is about 4 feet from circuit breaker. I could easy change the wire and to a 30A breaker as I have both here. I'll start with that experiment. As for what shuts down, the Jet has a little button that pops out which ends up shutting down the power to the DC. As for the bigger impellor...

    Remote Start Issue for DC

I have a 2HP DC unit which I added a larger Rikon fan to in order to create more suction. I am aware this causes more draw on startup - but not sure how much. I currently have it running just fine on a dedicated 110v 20Amp Circuit. I recently bought a Jet remote start kit that is supposed to...

    Ambrosia Maple Question

Do I need to do that if the wood has air dried for 4 years? No new piles of dust or holes have appeared from what I have seen. If the length of the wood is 8ft plus, any way to treat it without going to a kiln?

    Ambrosia Maple Question

I am looking at utilizing some air dried ambrosia maple. It does show little holes in the wood where I assume bugs got into the wood (was there from the day it was freshly cut) and I am curious if I should put epoxy or some other filler into these whole before using for a table? I like the look...

Dust collection in a small shop

I just did my shop a few months back. 15x15 in size. I already had a HF 2hp system, so I took the motor, added a bigger impeller from Rikon, took the bag away and used a filter from ( www.wynnenv.com ), along with a Super Dust deputy and a 35 gallon drum. Ran PVC piping throughout the room...
