Here is the process of attaching planks(siding) to ribs and clinching the planks together.
This is the step that makes the AGB so unique. the planking is screwed to the ribs and double clinched between the ribs to seal it up and give it strength
After you finish making(laminating the ribs to shape, you mount them on the bottom board in relation to the center line of the board that runs end to end. This takes a long time to line them up so the hull is "Fair" on both sides from stem to stern.
I think I will have the ribs completed this week. Its been quite a task making ribs with 10-16 laminations each. Lots of epoxy.
