In another shot of my RAS you may have noticed a plastic DC hood/device behind the carriage of the saw. That device, hooked to my "5" HP shop vac does a great job of collecting most of the dust. But I often had smaller amounts of dust escaping the shoot and falling to the floor or landing on the rear of the table.
To remedy that dust "overflow" problem, I added a couple of scraps of masonite (hardboard) and cardboard to widen the hood, so to speak. This has helped quite a bit to direct more dust into the hood and prevent any dust from hitting the floor.
Looks nice too, doesn´t it? lol
