The extravagant twenty eight inch wide top on this desk is made from Elm, a very unique and rare wood, and the base is made from Southern Cherry. The six Cherry drawers are each dovetailed and have bookmatched Elm as their drawer faces. It is finished with a hand rubbed oil and varnish mixture.
