Bird's Eye Maple Plate with Walnut Rim

Finished Product: Plate mesures 11 1/2" across by 1 1/4" high. Finish is just Bri-Wax that I put on while turning. As you turn the plate, the various "eyes" of the Maple come and go. What my older friend who traded me for the blank does not yet know is that I've made this piece for him.
